Ingredients

  • 1 lb smoked sausage (like kielbasa or andouille), sliced into medallions
  • 1 medium head green cabbage, cored and thinly shredded
  • 1 large yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 2 tbsp Bee Well Honey
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Low-sodium chicken broth
  • Salt and balck pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Reduce heat to medium. Add the onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 4–5 minutes. Stir in the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  3. Add the cabbage and chicken broth. Toss well, cover, and cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender and wilted.
  4. Drizzle in the Bee Well Honey and apple cider vinegar. Season with salt and pepper. Cook uncovered for 3–4 minutes, allowing the liquid to reduce into a light glaze.
  5. Return the sausage to the skillet and toss everything together. Cook for another 2 minutes, until heated through. Serve hot.
